‘You are a Free Spirit, just like me’. Those are the words my Father said to me when I was a teenage girl. I never forgot them. I struggled for nearly 40 years to understand the intention behind his disclosure, as I believed that his impression of my character was not meant as a good thing. How wrong I was!!
Hi, my name is Ann (Annie). I was born and raised in Derry, Northern Ireland and I now live in Ardara, Co Donegal with my husband Stephen. My happily ever after. I am a proud Mother of three grown up boys, from my first marriage. They are my SONSHINES. In Oct 2024 my first Grandchild Ella was born! I am loving my new role as a Granny to my darling Grand daughter. She is a blessing and I am looking forward to bring surrounded with more Grand children in the future, please God. The places, people and experiences I have encountered in between my birth place and moving to Ardara in 2019, and the years after 2019, have all shaped me into the person I am today and catapulted my journey into energy healing.
Energy healing entered my world when I went for my very first Reiki session. I was carrying a lot of wounds, trauma, pain and limiting self-beliefs. So much unhealed emotions and fears from my inner child, inner teenager, relationship breakdowns, grief, low self-esteem, self-loathing, loss of identity etc. Then as it so often happens, these blockages started to affect my physical health. Thyroid problems, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, chronic pain, anaemia etc. I was a mess. That first Reiki session blew my mind wide open. I felt the healing rays as my body soaked it up and my mind was soothed. At that time, I was a Personal Trainer with my own business. Suddenly, the mind, body, soul connection was shown to me via Reiki. The things that our emotional and mental bodies feel, think, hide and suppress will inevitably affect the physical body. I had to learn more about energy healing, I could not get enough. I am now a certified Reiki Master/Practitioner, a Master Instructor/Practitioner, of Integrated Energy Therapy (IET), a Teacher/Healer of Rahanni Celestial Healing, and Chakra Dance and Guided Mediation Therapist. I also do other holistic treatments. I love being a practitioner and teaching these healing modalities. All of the energy healing modalities are so powerful but Rahanni is proving to be the one my soul resonates with the most…I have definitely been a Rahanni Teacher in past lives. It’s in my DNA.
Through healing comes growth, empowerment and freedom. Forgiveness is a huge part of our healing…forgiveness of others and forgiveness of self.
To look deep within and acknowledge the ugliness of your wounds, sets you free. Allowing these wounds to come up for healing and releasing the emotional blockages that are holding you back and keeping you in a place of fear, is self-empowerment and the path to freedom.

My Father was right…I am a Free Spirit…we all are! We all have it within ourselves to learn and heal from life’s experiences. We all have to rise and fall and then rise back up again. We will all at some stage in life feel deep pain and feel lost. But we are all powerful healers and one of the most freeing things you will ever do is to pursue your own healing journey. Part of this life’s journey is to become the Free Spirit that knows themselves on a deeper level and lives their life being their unashamedly, authentic self and speaking their truth. To operate from a place of love…to love yourself and to be loved.
